Just read this article on the Economist and it is pretty spot on. China as the  dirty secret of first world brands is changing. (H Plus Son, clearly a third world brand) And that x-mart can’t keep on making cheapo crap here. How soon will it change I don’t know. But it is obvious that what it means to be Made In China is changing and will have to change. And the only way to keep these factories afloat is a step up in quality and skill.

Got the bag today and i’m really happy with it. It’s cool to work with others and see things come to fruition. The bag is well constructed and strong. I love the over-sized zippers, it makes for easy and quick open and close and the laptop compartment I requested came out perfect! Madeline thought the bag design is a good idea and now offers a version of it at her store. Check it!
